Engage and connect with our group activities

At State Wide Community Services, we offer a dedicated space in our office where participants can engage in arts and crafts, play pool or ping pong, watch Netflix, enjoy our sensory room and toys, play board games, and moreβ€”all for free. If you’re not a participant of State Wide Community Services, you can still access the Bentley Hub with your support worker by paying an entry fee. We encourage you to suggest activities and group events you’d like to see organised. We aim to form partnerships with other providers to create more opportunities for participants to come together in a social setting at our well-equipped Bentley Hub. Our goal is to provide a welcoming environment where you can learn new skills, participate in community events, and enjoy social interactions, all designed to enhance your wellbeing and quality of life. Whether you’re interested in recreational, educational, or therapeutic activities, our dedicated teams are here to support you.

Participant stories

Participant name: Austin Wynne

Before State Wide CS support:

When State Wide Community Services first started working with Austin, his hygiene was extremely poor. He was living in a hostel, transformed from a backpacker’s paradise to basic mental health housing during COVID. The hostel attracted the wrong crowd due to its cheap rent and had shared facilities in deplorable conditions.
